Clifton National Window Cleaning tries to keep the use of ladders to a minimum, but in circumstances where this is the only equipment that can be used, we exercise meticulous attention to safety. The company has a strict ladder procedure and training process. While Clifton National Window Cleaning can never become a truly ladder-less window cleaning company, it does keep ladder usage to a minimum.
Clifton National Window Cleaning has invested and owns a 20m (63ft) Lorry mounted platform and also uses a number of national hire companies for hydraulic platforms or 'cherry pickers'. These are either lorry mounted or self propelled and are used to access heights of 30 metres or more. The hydraulic platforms are regularly tested and operated only by IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) or CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) trained personnel.
